INCOTERMS are international terms in the comex area. They were created to facilitate communication and purchase / sale between different countries, in addition to delimiting the responsibilities of the operation between buyer and seller.

As the practice of commerce changes over the years, incoterms also change. In 2020, an updated version of the terms to be used in the next negotiations will be launched.

International trades are made with strong currencies, such as the US dollar. However, payment is always made in national currency. For example: the sale of soybeans for 2,000 dollars is negotiated, but this amount will be converted into reais and then passed on to the exporter.
